As soon as king entered the Tenali Raman’s house, Kanakaraju stabbed him with a knife. But King Krishnadeva cleverly stopped Kanakaraju's attack and called out to his soldiers. On hearing the king's voice, the bodyguards reached there and captured Kanakaraju and killed him.
